Let’s see the best off-page SEO strategies one by one. Here are the strategies that I have used for my clients in an organization and that have brought massive results.

1. Audit Your Backlinks:
This is one of the major things you want to do for your website. Linking to a spammy or low-quality website will affect your ranking.
There are tools in the market for auditing backlinks.
For instance, let’s take Semrush. Here, you have the feature to identify spammy website links, and you can export a link to disavow. Let’s see how to do it in Semrush.
In the Semrush SEO dashboard, click on the ‘Backlink Audit’ option.
Now, you want to set up your website for audit; after that, you can view the backlinks only.
Now, click on ‘audit’ to easily audit the toxic backlinks. Select all the toxic backlinks.
Score,
- Toxic Backlinks: 60-100
- Potentially Toxic: 45-59
- Non-Toxic: 0-44
After selecting the toxic backlinks, click on the ‘Disavow’ option, which is near the ‘Remove’ option.
The list has all been moved to the Disavow section. To disavow(remove) the links, export them in TXT format. To do that, click on the ‘Export to TXT’ option.
So, you will get a TXT format for all toxic domains.
Now, go to Google Disavow Tool.
I already uploaded a few toxic backlinks for other websites I’m working on, so the option shows as replace.
For you, it will show as upload; click on it to upload the list.
Now, the list has been successfully uploaded to disavow the toxic backlinks from your website. Removing the bad links from your site takes time.

I will add statistics and links to other reputable websites to most of my blog posts. So, try to create a blog with accurate stats about the topic.

Building relationships is crucial for backlinking and for our brand.
You can build backlinks by collaborating with bloggers and industry experts. Therefore, a relationship in your niche is necessary.
For example, being active in LinkedIn communities and other social platforms, interacting with other experts, and building a network around you will be really helpful.

Here is a simple method to reach out for backlinks.
I have been using the Semrush Link Building Tool to get backlinks for my client’s website.
First, you want to set up your website with the link-building tool.
Then, click on the ‘Prospects’ option. You will find many domains here, and it gives me around 3419 domains in my niche.
Now, you can see the domain authority score on the right side. So, pick the domain above 50 as the authority score.
Select the domain you want to contact and click the To in Progress button, or click the arrow to select options, as in the image below.
Then, it will added to the In Progress section.
It gives four emails from the website to the content for backlinks. Now, click on the Contact option.
Write a cold mail; don’t just randomly write the mail—strategies for the email content to attract the website owner.
This is one of the easiest methods to send cold mail for backlinks to reputable websites.
